This project is situated at Tribeni-6, Dahbang of West Rukum district which is regarded as one of the regional center of 3 Rural Municipality and 3 Municipality namely Tribeni Rural Municipality of Rukum, Sanobheri Rural Municipality of Rukum and Sukidaha Rural Municipality of Rolpa whereas Musikot Municipality of Rukum, Chaurjhary Municipality of Rukum and Baghchaur Municipality of Salyan. Dahbang is located at ward no.6 of Tribeni Rural Municipality of Rukum.
Dahbang and its adjoining Rural Municipality of this project area are inhabited by Magar, Chhetri, Dalits and Brahmins whose main occupation is mostly agriculture and livestock’s. Near about 70% of the people of these communities are socio-economically very poor and underprivileged. The obstacles to sound human development faced by these communities are the lack of awareness and education, infrastructural bottlenecks, male dominant society, superstition and unemployment. They are facing many problems with inadequacy living and working conditions such as health care, social protection, income and access to employment.

This project is intended to set up a new Integrated Resource Center (IRC) to provide integrated services from single roof to the local population to promote education, health, skill development, sports, agriculture as well as to improve the quality of life and to generate income. Resource center will comprise a multipurpose building in which different sub-components of the project will be accomplished from each department of the center. There will be learning center, training center, public library, conference hall, peasant support center, awareness meetings, toilets, office, workshop, conference and some recreational activities.
The main goal of Integrated Resource Center (IRC) is to achieve sustainable community development in Dahbang of Rukum and its adjoining areas. Total beneficiaries of the project area are about 2500 households and 22500 populations.
